১-৫ এপ্রিল,২০১৮-এ তিউনিশিয়ার রাজধানী তিউনিশে অনুষ্ঠিত ইসলামিক ডেভেলপমেন্ট ব্যাংক (আইডিবি)’র ৪৩-তম বার্ষিক সভায় Rural And Peri-Urban Housing Finance Project  (পল্লী ও উপ-শহর আবাসনে অর্থায়ন)শীর্ষক প্রকল্পে আইডিবি’র অর্থায়ন বিষয়ে আইডিবির প্রেসিডেন্ট জনাব ড. বান্দার এম. এইচ. হাজ্জার এবং বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় অর্থমন্ত্রী জনাব আবুল মাল আবদুল মুহিত এর মধ্যে বিগত ০৩ এপ্রিল,২০১৮ তারিখে চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয়ের আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান বিভাগের আওতায় বাংলাদেশ হাউস বিল্ডিং ফাইন্যান্স কর্পোরেশন (বিএইচবিএফসি) কর্তৃক প্রকল্পটি বাস্তবায়িত হবে। প্রকল্পটির মোট প্রাক্বলিত ব্যয় ১৪০.৩৫ মিলিয়ন ইউরো, তন্মধ্যে আইডিবি অর্থায়ন প্রায় ৯৪.৭৫ মিলিয়ন ইউরো। দেশের শহরতলী এবং গ্রামীন এলাকায় স্বল্প সুদে ঋণ প্রদানের মাধ্যমে বহুতল ভবন বিশিষ্ট পরিকল্পিত আবাসন নির্মাণে সহায়তা করা এবং দেশের কৃষি জমির রক্ষা করাই প্রস্তাবিত প্রকল্পের মূল লক্ষ্য।

 

 

The agreement of the project named “Rural And Peri-Urban Housing Finance Of Bangladesh” has been signed on April 3, 2018 between the President of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr. Bandar M. H. Hajjar and finance minister of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Abul Maal A. Muhit during the 43-rd annual meeting of IDB held in Tunisia on April 1-5, 2018. bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation will execute the project under the supervision of Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance. The total cost of the project is 140.35 million EUR, of which 94.75 million EUR will be financed by IDB. The main goal of the project is to provide low cost housing finance to build multi-storied building in the rural and peri-urban areas to save the cultivable land of the country.
